My Doll Project ♥

Hey, guys!

Today I am going to tell you about a project I started a few months ago. I was inspired by an Austrian mom, who is making over dolls. So, she buys the ugliest, most overdressed and most overmakeuped doll. She erases her face with nail polish remover along with all the makeup and she paints it again, so she would look like a normal person.

And that's what I've been doing! I've got a whole bunch of ugly dolls and I've been remaking them. I have done five so far, and here are some before and after pictures! Enjoy!

This is the first one I made. Her face turned out a bit smudgy, but for my first one ever, I think she looks quite good.

This is the second one. She is also a Monster High, like the first one. I think she is a lot better than the first one. She had cat ears, but I cut them off. She now has two holes in her head, but the hair covered them. Advice: Monster high is not makeover friendly :D

Moving to the third one! Okay, so for painting her hair, I used an orange permanent marker, and for her white skin - a sharpie. The skin turned out a little bit orangy, because that's the closest to skin color sharpie I had. She had ears too. There was a little problem with one of her eyes, as you can see on the picture. It couldn't be erased. So the kinda looks like she hasn't slept for days, but she's still lovely.

Ok, so this is the fourth one. I waned to make her look like she has makeup, but not as much as she has on the before picture. The heart on her cheek wouldn't come off, so I didn't remove it. Her skin is a bit pinky, but pinky is better than orangy, right? :D

And, last, but definitely not least, the fifth one! The most important is, that she is not Monster High like all of the others. She is a Brat. I suggest Bratz to all of the people, who want to try the doll remaking stuff. I think she is the best yet, but I will continue remaking and I'll try to beat her!

Stuff that I used: Faber Castell permanent markers for the face and hair, Sharpies for the skin, nail polish remover for erasing the face, modeling clay for the shoes and some fabric, sewing machine and skills for the clothes ;)

PS- the before clothes are not made by me. I'm not THAT skilled :D

So, what do you guys think? Which one is your favorite? That's it for now and stay tuned for more dolls!

Hey, welcome to my blog!

I'm Linka, just a normal 13 year old. I love crafts, cozy stuff and DIYs. And now you know what I'll be posting in this blog - my creations! :D  Also, I like cooking pretty looking stuff (at least they look good in the recipe) and skating. Now, some things about me:

I'm Magdalina (Linka for short), as you might already know, and I'm 13 years old. I live in a small village with my family - Two brothers, mom, dad, four dogs and tree cats (yes, they are family to me) :D I'm a homeschooler, which means I go to school at home. No, my mom is not a teacher, and no I don't take exams at the end of a grade. I actually don't have a certain grade I'm working on. This school year, I'm going to learn from 6-th, 7-th, and 8-th grade.

Well, that's it for me, and I hope I can post about tree times in a week, or even more!

P.S this is a rare anime avatar of me :D
